Admission Procedure
State Goverment admission policy for B.Tech , MBA & MCA course for the session 2007-2008:
  • Government has decided not to conduct state entrance tests for making admissions to B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch. and M.B.A Course for the session 2007-08.The admission to B.Tech courses shall be based on the merit secured in AIEEE and MBA through MAT. The admission to LEET(Eng)/MCA for the session 2007-08 will be made on tha basis of online admission test to be conducted by SCBH on the Pattern of BITS,Pilani.

  • Admissions to all technical courses shall be made through Online, Off-Campus Counselling.
  • The registration fee for counselling for UG/PG level courses is Rs. 500/- for the session 2007-08 and shall be deposited by the candidate in cash in the designated banks.

  • Reservation policy and fee structure shall be strictly as prescribed by the State Government.

  • For the guidance of students, rank wise admission status will be available on website(www.techeduhry.nic.in) .

*Candidates are advised in their own interest to deposit the registration fee for online of campus counseling amounting to Rs. 500/- in the designated bank.

Eligibility Criteria

Important:

i) Eligibility shall be seen on the day of counseling i.e. a candidate may not be eligible on the 1st day of counseling but may be eligible on subsequent days of counseling due to what-so-ever reasons.He/She shall be considered for counseling on the day his/her proves his eligibility.

ii) Candidates appeared/appearing in the qualifying examination are eligible for appearing in the enterance test but he/she shall be considered for counseling only if he/she Proves his/her fulfills the minimum eligibility criteria.

iii) The eligibility in column 3 is minimum requirement.

Eligibility Criteria
1. B.E / B.Tech Should be pass in 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects alongwith anyone of the following subjects:-
(a) Chemistry
(b)Bio-Technology
(c) Computer Science
(d) Biology

OR

Have passed diploma course in Engg./Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education,Haryana or its equivalent diploma examination.
2. 2nd year (3rd semester) of 4 years B.E./B.Tech. under LEET

A Candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology course of a duration of three years or more from Haryana Board of Technical Education or its equivalent in the relevant branch with a admission 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters.

OR

A canddiate must have passed the Degree in Science(B.Sc) with mathematics as a subject and with a minimum of 60% marks in teh agreggate.

NOTE: Candidates with diploma in Architecture are eligible to seek admission under Lateral Entry programme only for B.E/B.Tech.Civil Engg.

Candidates with any other recognized diploma of three years in any branch of Engg./Technology awarded by the Institution/University/State Board of Technical Education approved by AICTE would also be eligible provided he/she has obtained 60% marks in aggregate in all semesters.As per MHRD instructions,the diploma of two years duration after 10+2 would be considered equivalent to diploma of three years duration for the purpose of admission under lateral entry scheme provided a candidate obtains 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters.Similarly,the candidates possessing diploma with at least 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters after certificate awarded by Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology are eligible to appear in LEET-2007
3. MCA

Should be pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree of minmimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10+2 school level

OR

should be pass in any recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subject.

OR

should be pass in BCA Degree of minimum of three years duration from a recognized University

4. M.B.A

Should be a Bachelor's or Post Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto by KU Kurukshetra,MDU Rohtak,GJU Hissar and CDLU Sirsa as the case may be, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate(minimum pass marks in case of SC/ST candidates)

OR

pass in Final Examination conducted by Institute of Chartered Accountant of India/Institute of Costs and Works Accountants of India/Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
