Doon Valley Group of Institutes functions under the umbrella of Doon Valley Trust which operates a group of Institutes. The objective is to impart quality education in various important areas of Engineering and Technology, Management, Computer Application, Pharmacy, B.Ed. and M.Ed. The Trust makes continuous efforts to help the students to get education who can’t afford expenses at such a higher level. The Trust provides financial assistance to such needy and deserving group of students. Since its establishment in 2001, last 10 years have been a period of steady growth for fulfilling the mission of the Trust. Efforts are still on for further advancement in establishing various Institutes in emerging fields of science and education.

I firmly believe that all the academic organizations must jointly work to address
the problems of deficiency in the quality of education in our country. A good teacher
not only educates but also inspires. It is only a good teacher who makes good citizens
and, therefore, we must find ways of improving the quality of teachers. To attract
the best professionals for this cause, we also need to restore the prestige of the
profession apart from other aspects. Doon Valley Group of Institutes, in general,
and Doon Valley Institute of Education, in particular, are working very hard in
this direction. We are also making continuous efforts to improve the quality of
human resources. We prepare the teachers to face new challenges and to enable them
to shine in their chosen field. With this objective, we have focus to create professionals
capable of imparting training to trainers.

 I welcome you on behalf of Doon Valley Institute of Education. Since its inception in 2004, the Trust has established itself as one of the most successful and premier institute of its kind in the region.
St. Kabir said, “Teacher and God both are standing before me, whom should I pay obeisance. I bow to you, my teacher, who guided me to God”. Teacher is given the highest place in the society. As is the teacher, so is the student. It is very challenging job. Dare not to enter it, unless you love it. In the words of Tagore, “A teacher can never truly teach, unless he is still learning himself.” Keeping all these facts in mind, Doon Valley Institute of Education has been set up as an institute of Teacher Education to meet the academic, global and professional needs of 21st Century. This all is done by providing a platform to nurture the talent and creativity to hone the skills of our would-be teachers. Our ultimate aim is to groom and nurture tomorrow’s nation builders.
